New Website and Quick Update

Hope everyone is having a great holiday! If you haven't yet, check out my new website: I'm also putting finishing touches on the Chapter 2 recap of Vixen (The Flappers, #1) and that will be up on New Years day as I nerd out and watch SyFy Channel's Twilight Zone marathon. I'll also be releasing Sacred Atonement soon after the new year. Just trying to make certain of continuity. :) Hope everyone is having a great holiday!

What's Happening Over Here

Hey all, Hope everyone is surviving the craziness of the holiday season. First, I want to say thanks to Charlie Fleming at Screamzine for featuring my book series: Tiffany Apan's New Gothic Series at Second, my new website should be up and running very soon (and yes, this blog will be attached to it). And once that's up, I'm going to get started on the Spotify playlist for The Birthrite Series. I do have a couple at , but I like to give people options. :) I also have started a pinterest board dedicated to the music that inspired and/or appears in The Birthrite Series. In the meantime, here are two songs that if I had to choose one as a theme for The Birthrite Series, it would likely be a tossup between these two: The songs in question are "Dante's Prayer" and "Cymbeline", both by Loreena McKennit (whom I've been listening to quite a bit while writing this. "Dante's Prayer" is from her a

VIXEN Recap: Prologue and Chapter 1 (Gloria)

Hey all, A couple weeks ago, I promised to recap the first book in Jillian Larkin's The Flappers series, titled Vixen. I found the book on a recent trip to the thrift store and of course, it piqued my interest. As I stated in a previous post, I've been wanting to do a book recap on this blog for quite some time but didn't really have a book that I would say drove me to want to do weekly recaps. My original choice was going to be Jessica Sorensen's Death Collector series. I've only read the first book in that series, but it was enough for me to start thinking of the stereotypes and tropes of the goth culture that is prevalent in much of modern entertainment. I was set to recap Ember X once I released Descent, but given the eras and subject matter of my own Birthrite series, The Flappers series interested me a little more at this time. Before I begin, Vixen is set in 1923 Chicago. Here is the book's synopsis: Jazz... Booze... Boys... It's a dang

Thank you to everyone that continues to express interest in the series and I really hope you enjoy the first installment. :) Available at Smashwords and soon other retailers. :) The Birthrite Series is a journey into the vast unknown, and plunges deep into the darkest crevices of the mind, begging the question of what sanity really is and if the insane truly are. Are we really shown the whole truth of what surrounds us or is it an i

Descent Update

Hey all, My computer was acting up and not cooperating earlier and I ended up having to run a full system scan which ate up a good chunk of time. I am working toward getting the Smashwords ebook format completed for sometime tonight. Amazon Kindle might be delayed by another day though I will try to have both done today. Gotta love modern technology. Thanks for your patience and I do look forward to releasing the first installment in the series. :)
